This was the first word I learnt in Hungarian! And this was one of my first pictures I took in Hungary, in Pesterzsebet. I wish I could have captured Szandys face when she saw this romantic message.

This is in Szekesfehervar. I wonder how many "little bears" he has professed his love to on these very steps.

"In this series i worked together with a group of people and our idea was it to make some pictures because of the new media law. And that the goverment also banned a lot of stuff, for example people are not allowed anymore to sleep on public places."

River-bank is the place of everyday escape for friends, couples in Hungarian capital. Sunny day when Danube flooded proved to be a great oportunity to capture moments of joy and rest.

Hungarians are very proud of their heroes of the past. In the minds of the Hungarians the historic heroes are very much alive. The world moves on, but the spirits of heroic figures are always present. I try to show these heroes in a modern, dynamic way.
